We were contacted by the owner of a 2010 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 906 after losing the last working key to the vehicle. The customer requested two complete replacement keys, including remote radio functionality and buttons for locking and unlocking the vehicle.
The entire job was completed on the same day.
We first gained safe access to the vehicle without damaging the locks or bodywork. We then prepared the mechanical portion of both replacement keys and made the key blades for the vehicle.
The next step was programming the two new keys to the vehicle’s immobilizer system. After successful programming, both keys were tested for vehicle recognition and remote-control functionality.
The vehicle was then returned to its original condition and both keys were fully tested, including:
• Engine starting with both keys
• Immobilizer recognition
• Remote lock and unlock buttons
• Central locking operation
• Overall key functionality
As a result, after the Mercedes Sprinter All Keys Lost situation, the customer received two fully working replacement keys with remote functionality.
