Another challenging Audi All Keys Lost (AKL) job completed by Vancouver Key Rescue. The customer had purchased a 2016 Audi A4 B8.5 at an auction, where the vehicle was listed as having no keys. Our mobile automotive locksmith was dispatched to the vehicle to restore key functionality.
Locked Audi BCM2 0711 — Advanced Immobilizer Data Recovery
The vehicle was equipped with a BCM2 module, software version 0711, featuring a D70F3634 processor. The processor was protected against standard data reading, making this job more complicated than conventional Audi key programming.
Our technician removed the BCM2 module and used specialized equipment to unlock the processor and obtain the necessary immobilizer data for preparing a new key.
The work included:
• On-site inspection of the Audi A4 B8.5.
• Removal and identification of the BCM2 0711 module.
• Specialized processor access and unlocking.
• Acquisition of the required immobilizer data.
• Preparation and programming of a new Audi key.
• Verification of Keyless Entry and push-button start functionality.
• Final checks of the vehicle’s other systems.
Audi Key Programming — Keyless Entry and Push-Button Start Restored
After the required data was recovered, we successfully programmed a new key for the vehicle.
We then verified that the keyless system and push-button engine start were operating correctly and checked the vehicle’s other systems.
The entire job was completed on-site in less than two hours, allowing the owner to use the newly acquired Audi without arranging transportation to a dealership.
