We recently completed another SRS airbag module crash data reset on a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq. The vehicle was equipped with an SRS module with part number 95910-G2000.
Using specialized diagnostic and programming equipment, we accessed the SRS module directly through the OBD portwithout removing the module from the vehicle.
SRS Crash Data Reading and Reset
The first step was to read the information stored in the airbag control module. During the initial scan, we identified stored crash data in the SRS module.

After confirming the stored impact information, we performed the appropriate crash data reset procedure. The module was then read again to verify the result.
After the reset, the previously stored crash information was no longer present in the module.
